It’s not typical to pull your starter when he’s gone 5 scoreless, but it was obvious Vandy was starting to center him up and he was winded.
He should have never started the 6th.
That was us being greedy.

I went to bed tied 0-0 and wake up and we gave up 12 runs in the next 3 innings? What the Sheet.

Wheels fell off. Sometimes it be like that.
I don’t know what the deal is with only using Meyers in the Saturday relief role but I’m just gone trust the process.

We have 4 guys that I trust at all out of the pen. Heiberger was used but with the way the offense was going we saved Omer, Meyers, and Banks. I can’t blame them for that. Just not enough bullpen arms.

I get that but their offense wasn’t doing squat either.
If we start Meyers in the 6th and get two quality innings, we get Ozmer for the 8th and 9th.
Game could have been a lot different.
Also would have helped if Lebron made a couple plays in the 6th.
