Idk how much more of this OL I can watch if it hasn’t improved. Never in a million years did I think an OL with this much talent could be this bad.
This is one of those situations where you take a good hard look in the mirror and decide what you want to be.
I’ve done it, I know other guys who have too. You either do something about it, or you give up. I for one didn’t give up. I think these don’t either.

Like I told you offline, if the team wants Milroe to be the guy then they need to bust their asses to make sure he's successful.
That includes blocking better, getting separation, catching the ball, etc.

Would be shocked if we changed the offensive system significantly. It is clear Milroe is the guy today, so the question is can the offensive line keep him upright.
I think the defense can keep us in it for a little bit, but if we don't score look out below

Doesn’t have to change 100% just have to add some wrinkles in the shape of RPO.

Think the Tide rolls today. I don’t know what happens the rest of the season, but just got a feeling we win big today

When was the last time the ESPN fan vote was against Alabama?
60% have Ole Miss winning. Bama has absolutely lost the aura of invincibility. Do these players want to be the ones that end the Dynasty started in 2009? Time to be ALABAMA again!

Line needs to block better, obviously.
Would love to see more RPO, designed QB runs with Jalen and quick slants.
Hoping we don't have a lot of 3 and outs on offense otherwise the defense is going to be tired in the 4th quarter a la the Texas game
I honestly don't know what to expect today. Would I be surprised if we won? Nope. Would I be surprised if we lost? Nope.

Ole Miss’ offensive line is as bad or worse as ours but I trust Lane to scheme around it better than our coaches

More will be known closer to game time, but sources tell ESPN that @OleMissFB WRs Tre Harris and Zakhari Franklin and TE Caden Prieskorn are doubtful vs. Alabama with injuries. All three practiced some this week. If they’re able to play, it would likely be on a limited basis.

Alabama’s official depth chart for its SEC opener against Ole Miss had one change compared to the first three weeks of the 2023 football season, and it matches what head coach Nick Saban announced in his first press conference of the week Monday.
Jalen Milroe is now alone at the top of the quarterback line. Prior to Saturday’s matchup with the Rebels, the four quarterbacks on the depth chart – Milroe, Tyler Buchner, Ty Simpson and Dylan Lonergan – were separated by three ORs. Now, there are no ORs, and Simpson is listed at No. 2 ahead of Buchner and Lonergan. This comes after Saban named Milroe the starter.

Yessir. You gotta think though, we probably haven’t seen ALL of the playbook yet too.

It's reassuring that the QB battle was officially decided by our backups looking like shite against arguably the worst program in FBS. I mean really, what if they had at least been decent enough to play QB at a national power like...checks notes...FAMU and thrown for 375 and a few TDs? Would the competition have continued into a 4th week?
I don't understand the handling of this whole situation. If there was still an ongoing competition against MTSU, why were Buchner and Simpson only brought in to run the garbage time offense when we had a 42 point lead the way our clear QB2 and QB3 have been doing for 15 years? Maybe I'm being overly pessimistic, but this just feels like a divided locker room kind of situation.

If we lose to Pete Golding, I just don’t know if I can take it.
