Earlier in the year folks still thought our D line sucked and had no talent…Oatis and Tim Smith were borderline 5 stars. James Smith and Payne were 5 stars. Eboigbe was highly touted. Keenan a 3 star but playing way above that. Diamond in the rough per se…
Most folks point to 2011 as our best defense(even though I take 2015 and 2016 over that group). That’s the standard. Remember that D line? Chapman, Gentry, Stinson, Square, Jesse Williams…solid but not any world beaters outside of Square maybe.
Our D line is plenty talented enough.
