We can't afford to fire DeBoer so there's no point in talking about it. These numbers aren't definitive but...
If fired in 2025: Alabama would owe $69.3 million
If fired in 2026: Alabama would owe $60.075 million
If fired in 2027: Alabama would owe $50.625 million
If fired in 2028: Alabama would owe $40.95 million
If fired in 2029: Alabama would owe $31.05 million
If fired in 2030: Alabama would owe $21.025 million
If fired in 2031: Alabama would owe $10.575 million

Is this true? Why would Kalen get any sort of guarantees based on his coaching history?
If true, we got fleeced and that falls on the AD.

I’m not saying we are there….
But at some point you can’t afford to NOT fire the guy no matter the buyout. The potential loss of revenue over the long term from a middling program is greater.
