We lose 2 more. LSU on the road will be similar to this game. And I think we blow it vs the barn.

Bc people constantly bash the defense the past 2 weeks when they’ve scored more points than the offense has while playing without several key players and having their own offense hand the opponent 10 points.

There were FOUR starters on the field when UT scored the last TD.

UT had 13 possessions. Top SEC teams will indeed score 2 TDs if you give them over a dozen possessions. Especially when 4 of them start inside your own 37 yard line

Dudes played their asses off and all they get is bashed constantly on here.

I really don't have a problem with the play of the defense 80% of the time. High risk and high reward open field and solid red zone defense wins most games, but DeBoer wasn't brought here to be Les Miles. He was brought here to produce points and so far, he really hasn't been that impressive.

But, I think most people worry more about the attitude of the staff and team. Of course, it's hard to chew a kids arse that can just threaten to pack up and leave if he gets his feelings hurt.

Brand new world.

The fanbase better get ready for another wander in the wilderness like we had to do between Bear and Stallings and Stallings and Saban until staff changes are made.

Is obvious that this is coaching. Looking at Indiana and Utah and UCLA the right hire can vault a program to the top of the game, and this staff isn’t it. I know we can’t afford the buyout and I don’t know who we would get instead, but something has to happen.

It’s the weirdest shite I’ve ever read.

It’s like the people on here think that the defense gave up 2 TDs two weeks in a row while setting up all of Bama’s points while playing 75 snaps along with critical starters out.

FOUR starters played the final 7 plays of UT’s TD to run out the clock.

Pruitt had an offense that would take 7 minute off the clock running the ball up opponents asses even when they didn’t get points.

What happened to Pruitt’s 2016 defense when they had to defend the last 20 plays vs Clemson bc the offense could only produce 4 1st downs the entire 2nd half…..they gave up 500 yards and 40 points.

You can’t defend that many snaps with your own offense letting them start FOUR times inside your own 37 yard line and still shut them out (or whatever point total you think is acceptable).

Not to mention how they lead the SEC in forcing turnovers, but they let Georgia score 20 (QB Reese intercepted that pass btw), and UT scored twice today so CLEARLY the defense is WEAK SOFT and do t play hard in your opinion.

That’s bullshite

Grubb would be publicly executed if I had the power to do so

some stops against weak to bad offenses like UT.

Tenner had 12 points at half and BAMA's O tried desperately to give them more.

The defense played well enough to win that game. The offense got 12 first downs and turned it over 4x.
0-2 on 4th down. 6 punts.

GTFOH.

A&M may beat us. We get nothing from our QB and no offensive gameplan or direction.

Our QB is still facing Georgia. He is lost in that game

We had 149 total yards before the last drive and it ended in an interception.
I would have rather run the ball 55 times

Do we have anyone else on offensive staff that has called plays before?

How is giving up the fewest points by a Bama D since 2017 (.1 more than Pruitt allowed), then the fewest yards since 2017 (Pruit 7 yards less pg) while forcing the most turnovers in the SEC since CKW took over a (shitty roster) in 2024.

The backups in there on the 2nd UT TD at the end were playing their arse off.

You can take ANY defense (2016 Bama) and leave them out there the entire game and they willl surrender two Touchdowns.

If 17.6ppg, 297.4 ypg and forcing the most turnovers in the SEC over a 2 and a half year proof is “MASKING IT”, then that’s one serious frickin mask

Extending DeBoer this past offseason is going to be one of the all-time blunders. We’re stuck with a staff that we should be in the process of queuing up a year 4 final exam on his tenure.

We ain’t making the playoffs. This team today will lose to LSU and Auburn. Texas AM will be a real challenge. We are looking down the barrel of 4-5 regular season losses

None of the previous years have a single thing to do with this years defense. Wommack masks some deficiencies, Grubb isn’t capabale

Not even remotely, and that's what's so unfortunate
