Yeah, 13 possessions will do that to you.

They allowed 2 TD’s in ea h of the past two games and the last one came with 4 starters left on the field.

How many defenses would’ve just mailed it after they setup 10 points through turnovers only to see their own offense give the opponent the ball 4 times inside their own 37 yd line, and then watch the ABOMINATION that is our “offense” and still keep going out there after each 3-n-out obey and over?

That’s two weeks in a row they held top10 opponents who are extremely physical to an average of 23 points, where 12 of the points was on the offense.

It just baffles me that you guys constantly criticize the defense.

Look, as I clearly said the offense has to be MUCH better and deserves every criticism they get, but this D is not making stops outside the red zone. UT went down the field from the first possession running iterations of the same 3 passing plays; slant, WR screen, and fake run left rollout right. All 3 worked all day and we couldn’t stop it. The run game was getuing 5ish yds on first down from the 1st quarter. The D was good enough to hold them to fgs early, but wore down because of bad offensive play. Starters being out I’m sure has an effect, but we played soft coverages on the edges and gave up the easy completions. That is not a good UT offense. Bad angles, bad tackling, and giving up big play have been an issue all season. As a unit, it’s fair to say they played WAY better than the offense, but they weren’t good.

Then why did they punt 5 times turn it over twice and go 3-n-out on 2 of the 3 FG’s our offense gifted them?

Sounds like they had 500 yards reading your post

They have a ton of injuries and a 1st year starter at QB. The offensive game plan was bad this week. Not sure what Grubb saw when he planned the passing game vs tenner's pass rush. But, I am confident that BAMA is going to murder Aggie.

It’s coaching. The players are talented but the coaches are subtarded.

You are right. They are unbelievably great. 92 defense doesn’t have shite on them.
They are above average. Nothing else. They were playing a shitty offense.

Tennessee has a bunch of injuries and a young guy starting his second(?) game. And they just whipped the shite out of us.

And there’s no reason to make this a defense vs offense thing. As a matter of fact, the game would have probably went better for us if the offense had not played at all.

The defense played well enough to win with any kind of consistency on offense.

Correct

For example, name a defensive player that had a stand out game.

1/2 this Board thought they were one of the best defenses on the country after the UK game and even through the 6 sack 5 turnover performance against State.,

Then they allow 20 points to Georgia (10 of them setup by our own offense) and 2 TDs to UT while playing damn near 80 plays while missing 4 critical players and being to the point where 7 backups had to play that last drive of the game where UT drove it 15 plays.

The offense goes 3-and-out so fast it’s like they are trying to win a race, and to top it off they give up we many points ax they score bc of all the critical turnovers they commit.

If Bama just had a Florida/AU/Texas caliber offense, then they are undefeated right now.

Those offenses suck, but they can score 20 over the course of an entire football game especially when Bsma’s defense sets up the offense for 9-10 points the past two weeks and they don’t turn it over 7 times and have more than 50% of their drives end in either a 3-n-out or a turnover.

Plus our K and P are pretty damn good

Yeah, 75 snaps 13 possessions, 4 starting inside your 37 against the SEC’s leading rusher and they gave up 2 TDs while setting up our only 10 points of the game.

Bishop ran for 248 on AU even with Faizon at QB and Georgia might have the OL in the country.

If you don’t think field position, number of possessions s, and time of possession have an affect on a game then idk what to tell you.

What if LSU starts 8 drives inside our 37 yd line but still score 2 TDs, is that ridicule worthy too?

The defense was gassed. It was just a matter of time.

Then I’m assuming our offense has fricked up some more.

That doesn’t mean our defense is spectacular, no matter how bad you want them to be

Won’t surprise me if we lose next week. Don’t know anything about TAMU but just looking at our performance today we can lose to anybody. We are banged up. QB has lost confidence, we can’t get one yard to save our lives. DBs are playin 10 yds off WRs on first down. Don’t have any dogs on the team, maybe I am overlooking a couple. Did anyone hear the names of Pierre and Thompkins called today? Supposedly 1st Rd draft choices. Play calling on offense is a riddle nobody can figure it out. I can guarantee a loss in BRouge, so we are looking at 9-3 record at best and 7-5 at worst. We found out how important RCW is important to this team. I did not realize this either. Does anybody know what our recruiting ranking is for 2027? It’s 33 and the majority are “diamond in the rough” 3-stars.
I am told we are spending our NIL money on retaining the current superstars. I am also told DeBoer is the best we could have hired.
Ok then, I’ll keep my fingers crossed and pray hard.
