Outstanding. Like I told my dad, Riley won't taste the soup.

Good point Monty. Herb is definitely going to directly take minutes from Riley.

Herbert is a bad man. Then again, all our freshmen are to be honest.

So what is this team gonna look like when Braxton Key comes back?

I like Herbert so much that I keep typing out Herbert when I really just want to shorten it to Herb.

I really thought he was clearly the second key guy tonight after Sexton. Nice little cameo from Avery JR in the second half helped

This was easily Avery's best win at Alabama. The reason is because these are the games we drop for the past 10 years. These games get you into the tourney.

I think the rotation will end up being Sexton, Ingram, Petty, Braxton, Donta, Jones, Riley, Avery JR, and one of Giddens or Galin Smith.

No point in worrying about playing time. There are always at least minor injuries

This team will have ups and downs, but the fight they showed in the 2nd half against a team like that.......that's we encouraging shite.

Even fewer minutes for Norris. Hell, Key is going to get limited minutes himself. He'll take some of Petty's especially when he's performing like he did tonight

No. It was a good win but this is just hyperbole. In 2015 we beat ranked teams on back to back days. Last year we beat a ranked and eventual final four bound USCe in their house and again in the SEC tourney.

If we cut down on the sloppy turnovers and improve FT shooting we'll be a tough out for anybody.

Avery made a good point post game..

The hype is there with the young guys.

But Alabama has some key guys who have experience. Experience with shite losses. Tough losses. And solid wins. I love the mix here.

My lord Sexton is composed once he gets the feel of a game. As a freshman he can simultaneously play REALLY fast and still be playing within himself. Pretty rare.

Guys are going to have to fight for minutes this year, but Riley will be an important player. And Key is too talented to project limited minutes at this point. It may be Dazon’s minutes on some nights when he’s not being very assertive (like tonight). Or Petty’s. Or the guy in foul trouble. Or the guy that’s hurt, etc.

Yes, so far this team has been everything I could have hoped. Young kids are better than expected and veterans are doing what they need to do.

Let's go to New York and make a statement.

It'll be tricky for Avery to finesse, but what a great problem to have. Incredible.

That was a team full of seniors with a couple of NBA guys. That was a big win by a super young team. It's great enjoying Bama hoops again!
