It really is a shame that a top 25 matchup is gonna be on Facebook and not TV

Obviously can't say enough about Sexton, but we had a good run in the second half without him on the floor. We had AJ, Ingram, Riley, Herbert, and Hall in, and the experience of that group outside Jones paid dividends.

I'm still replaying the post-up, turn around, fade away Sexton hit coming out of that crucial timeout. He has it all in his game

Hard to overstate how good Sexton has been. Maybe more impressive than his 25.3 ppg or his 63% from the field...only 3 turnovers through 3 games.

Blame the tournament organizers for playing the thing during a peak football weekend.

It’s a fantastic problem, and one we haven’t had in ages. Just look at some of the lineups we put out in that crazy road win versus South Carolina last year. I have no idea how we scored enough points to win that game. No offense to Armond, but “Well shite, maybe we could run a play for Armond here” is something we thankfully won’t have to ever think this year.

If Dazon wants to keep his minutes, don’t fade in and out of games. If Petty wants to keep his minutes (hopefully they aren’t just guaranteed), don’t be lazy with the ball and on defense. Etc.

I think the rotation will end up being Sexton, Ingram, Petty, Braxton, Donta, Jones, Riley, Avery JR, and one of Giddens or Galin Smith.

I think you're right, but I don't think there's any question that it'll be Giddens over Smith. Smith is much further along than I expected, but only way he sees meaningful minutes once Key gets back is Hall and Giddens being in foul trouble.

dropping into that zone with under a minute left confused them on the second to last possession. They were not expecting that.

What a win!! It was a great game to attend.

We made some mistakes, but oh my goodness the perseverance. March teams are molded in November. UTA had so much game. Collin was huge, but it is so enjoyable to watch the other guys not just stand around and make him play 1v5.

Whew, that was a good team. Played much better defense in the second half, but it still could have gone either way. It's a good win. That team would have beaten us last year.

Petty minutes not going to cut IMO. Petty and Colin are the only aggressive offensive players we have that can create. Good to see we can win without him shooting lights out. If anyone minutes need to be cut its Ingram IMO.

I think if we would've had Key tonight he would've been at the four and Herb could've played on that pg the entire time. When is the last time you've said we have three legit NBA prospects on the roster.

That's my point.

Ingram has a full season of running point. Hall is aggressive. And AJ is a SUPER boom or bust guy. He's capable of scoring 25 off the bench.

They accent what the young guys provide...nearly perfectly.

Huge win and just refusal to quit. Like someone mentioned we normally find ways to lose games like this. Collin is a closer and u need that in today's college game. Jones did all the dirty work and everyone had a part in this win. Norris will be a huge part of this team as will key when he returns. We have depth, length, and everyone brings something. Not gonna get down on petty, this is his first off game. He just needs to attack the basket more when the 3s aren't falling. We just beat a team that has 7 or so seniors and will be scary for someone in March. We have a real chance at making a statement this week, but regardless these kids have a hunger to win I haven't seen in years.

Actually there are 5 on this team for sure that'll have NBA futures. Sexton, petty, hall, Jones, and key. Ingram and giddens possibly as well if they progress

Let it not be unstated, we don’t win this game without Herbert.

Taking four charges in a game is incredible.

He’s our best on ball defender imo.

His length and athleticism will have him guarding the oppositions best offensive player more often than not.
