I’m sorry you’re upset. People paying attention knew Oats made bad choices that caused the divorce long before these reddit rumors on the current engagement. Be mad if you want to

Not upset. Post a copy of a divorce filing citing infidelity as the reason for divorce. Post any kind of proof that Oats started his relationship with his fiance before his divorce in 2023. Post any kind of verifiable evidence that cheating was the reason for his divorce. Or shut the frick up.

It wasn’t a contested divorce, and there was a lot of money involved. The citing won’t say infidelity for a reason. Feel free to believe she divorced him for whatever reason you want to.

Also, no one cares. That shite has nothing at all to do with his job and it's none of our fricking business. It's only a problem if he starts doing it in a booth at an Italian restaurant like other coaches have been known to do.

Portal opens tomorrow. Going to be fun to see how they construct this roster. Really hope with Chris Fleming on staff that he cam convince Oats to bring in some seven-footer from Europe.

There is a kid in the portal named Ernest Shelton, 1st team All MAAC. Is it...are we really that old?

He averaged 4.2 rebounds per game? Somehow, it seemed less than that.

Meh. I wouldn't have been upset to see what he could do healthy, but that would have just been to satisfy my own curiosity. Bethea is the only portal guy I'd be a little irritated to lose. His game fits, but he just got way behind with the injury and then played too much stupid basketball in a very experienced and crowded backcourt. A good offseason could unlock his potential. Just depends on price. You shouldn't pay for projects if you want to compete for championships.

I’d say yes. A new fresh start thread for our national championship season on deck.

I figured Jasper would give us a strong look. I’d be perfectly ok with it playing out with him getting the bag at Kentucky to develop a year and then coming where he always wanted. Sort of like Ty Haywood in football.

I just really have no interest in Cade Phillips. If he wants to come here and be a body and take up no NiL then I guess that’s fine. But I wouldn’t pay him a sheet of Papa John’s coupons.

Yeah I don't understand bringing him in unless he just wants to try to wash the Vol stench off himself for a year while drawing rev share only. He has been a non-factor for 3 seasons.

Didn't TBB just make a "lets run it back" post on IG last week? lmao

Wonder if we offered him a paycut

His post was very vague and people read into it. It was a post of him saying “junior year” and he actually had the jersey off which I almost wondered if that was a hint.

People took it as he was coming back to Alabama and not just college basketball as opposed to working at Lowe’s reaching shite on the high shelves.

I'd wager this is exactly what happened. He probably sat down with Nate and asked what we would pay to keep him and Nate told him based on performance it'll be less than what he was paid this year.

You'd think there would be a sign posted if they were gonna get so bent out of shape about something like that, right?
