If you had told me when we lost Acuna we'd be in the world series I'd have told you to put down the crack pipe. Amazing season!

Insane hard to believe this team

I’m partially in shock over here.
Are the Atlanta Braves really going to the WS??? Is this real life???

This is a destiny team. No doubt. They're going to find a way to get it done. I believe.
Matz made playoff baseball history today with that performance. He's the best arm out there, and its not close.
If Rosario can continue to stay anywhere near this hot for one more series...

I'm just not engaging in that nonsense. The self loathing "here we go again" self flagellation stuff sucks. I've been kicked in the balls 750 times like everyone else, but at some point that's gonna end and a bunch of people are gonna look up and realize they basically missed it because they spent every moment leading up to the breathrough brow beating themselves into oblivion.
The Cubs hadn't won for 80 years until they did.
The Red Sox hadn't won for 80 years until they did.
The Nationals were the poster child for playoff disasters until they weren't.
I've got the demons lurking in my head too, I've just decided I'm not letting that shite in.
Fvck the demons. They're fvckin dead.

Please don't shortchange Cubs like that. Cubs had not won in 108 years not 80.
I should know I am a Cubs fan.

Matzek just shoving 3 heaters right down the middle to Betts and striking him out.....Legendary.
Very Rick Vaughn in “Major League” like

Poor Mookie was 0-4. He can use some of his millions to wipe any tears.
Matzek was almost as deserving of the NLCS MVP as Rosario. It took the best series a Brave has had in playoff history to beat Matzek, a wonderful problem to have notwithstanding.
Here's his line
In 6 innings he struck out 11
Walked 1
Gave up 2 runs (erased by Rosario's walk off).
And got 1 win.
The biggest innings were tonight after The pitcher that shall not be named shite his britches on the mound.
Just to say how good his night was he struck out Pujols on 3 pitches I believe and Mookie on 3. That alone would have been a great outing, but he dusted Souza for good measure and then came back to render the heart of their order, flaccid.
It was as ice-cold dominant an outing as I have ever seen with everything on the line.
It was fricking ARCTIC. The Dodgers had momentum. Runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. Big bats coming up.
Matzek not only struck out the side, but he changed the momentum. He is Dodger Kryptonite.
Going forward, I'm not sure that Houston has seen pitching as good as ours. Definitely not our bullpen (minus TPWSNBN).
Houston's offense is not that different than L.A.'s. They are solid top to bottom.
The key during the games in H-town will be Snit's ability to manage the pitchers. Anderson could've pitched the 4th tonight if there were designated hitters. How nice that is. That's an advantage that Houston is used to. But they'll have to adjust to maybe sacrificing a pitcher for offense in the ATL. National League baseball is purer and harder to manage. Better.
Prediction:
Braves in 5.
If Morton can beat his former team, Fried already had his clunker, and Anderson looked good tonight. 3 great innings.
It's really who manages the time off the best. Maybe Houston is breathing a sigh of relief they don't have the Dodgers to beat, maybe they'll underestimate the Braves and we can get up early in the series.

Surpasses that for me tbh, this is bringing up feelings, memories, and thoughts back to my childhood watching the Braves of the 90’s. Some of the best years of my life and this makes me just as giddy as it did in ‘95.

If the Braves finish this and win the WS it would surpass any excitement I’ve ever had over a National Title in Football. Only thing that could top it is if Bama Basketball made a Final 4

I know it won’t happen, but I wouldn’t carry Luke Jackson on the World Series roster. He’s mentally shaken and throwing pitches with zero conviction. He’s a waste of a roster spot and it would be malpractice to run him out there in any late inning pressure situation in the WS.

You keep him in case you get down in a game by 10 runs.
He's mop up loss only.
