I know Carlton won't agree with me (lol), but man Frazier is can't miss.
I watched his highlights again and I don't know how he isn't a five-star. Kid does everything, even the subtle stuff like faking the block and getting to his route at rhe right time. Has fantastic positioning, body control and hands.
His only issue is he doesn't bend but to be honest the TE position has changed. He doesn't need to be a grinder.
Kid is physical and mean. He has deceptive speed and tremendous bodu control. He is great after the catch as well.
This is what a TE is suppose to look like. Well a complete one.

Not doubting that it is if everyone says so...
BUT
Why does everyone act like Washington to UGA is a foregone conclusion given the fact that Saban said in his presser that we had silent signees?

I liked Frasier's film when I watched it a few weeks ago. Kid may be the victim of not going to certain camps which is why he's not rated higher. Nonetheless, I like what I see and since Saban seems to think he can be a player for us I'm more than fine with him rolling with the Tide.

If you think that film looks anything like Tennison's then you are blind.
Frazier isn't an athlete playing tight end, he is an actual well drilled, taught and developed tight end.
Kid is a first rounder. Remember I said that.

Four-star weak-side defensive end LINK ]Deontae Lawson, one of the top 2021 prospects in the state of Alabama, has committed to the Crimson Tide, he confirms to BamaOnLine. AL.com's Ben Thomas was first to report. The Mobile Christian standout held offers from Power Five programs like Auburn, LSU, Clemson and Georgia, among others.
The in-state defender spoke with Nick Saban on Friday evening. "He was ready," Lawson said of the UA head coach's reaction. "He was excited for me. Just hard thinking and talking it over with my parents, praying about it," Lawson said of how he came to his decision. "I think it was time."
So ... why Alabama? "I feel like I'm at home when I'm there," he said. "Just the coaches, they have a great relationship with me. And the success of their program. It feels good. Like a dream come true." Outside linebacker's coach Sal Sunseri recruits Lawson for UA.
Lawson is commitment No. 3 for UA in the 2021 class, joining four-star quarterback Drake Maye and four-star cornerback Latrell McCutchin. The Tide's 2021 class ranks No. 14 in the nation, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.

They seem to possess this logic when they are 6'3 WR.
Or Clemson has a head start on us thanks to having spread offenses longer and is generally thought of as the “fun place” to play. Guess what a lot of kids like...fun.

Lawson (8) returns blocked punt for TD.
2021 4-star linebacker LINK ]Deontae Lawson committed to Alabama late Friday afternoon over SEC rivals Auburn, LSU, Geaorgia and Tennessee. “It’s crazy,” Lawson told AL.com. “I felt the time was right. I can’t wait to fit into that program and be a part of what Coach Saban has built. I was just ready to do it. It feels awesome.”
The 6-foot-3, 214-pound Lawson led Mobile Christian to the Class 3A championship game earlier this month. He was a first-team ASWA Class 3A All-State selection and a first-team AL.com All-Coastal Alabama selection.
Lawson finished the 2019 season with 101 tackles solo tackles and 33 assists. He also had a sack and four tackles for a loss. He played an increasing role on offense, rushing for 10 touchdowns out of the Wildcat for the Leopards.
Lawson could end up playing inside or outside LB for the Tide. “I think it’s going to be wherever I feel more comfortable and they feel more comfortable putting me,” Lawson said. “If I grow more, I could play outside. If I stay the same height, I will probably stay inside. I’m fine wherever.”
Mobile Christian HC Ronnie Cottrell described Lawson as "a complete player, quite simply, a winner. He is a guy who is extremely competitive. He shows up. When the game is at the highest point, he plays. What is remarkable is I think he has a very high ceiling. He’ll have a lot of development that will occur over the next couple of years, and I know he wanted to go to a program that would help him with that.”
Mobile Christian DC Gus Smith compared Lawson to another player he coached – former Daphne High and Alabama standout Ryan Anderson. “When Ryan got there (to Alabama), it took him a few years to get going and find his place,” Smith said. “That could happen to Deontae. It’s hard to go to Alabama and play right away."
"He’s such a likeable kid and a hard worker. I moved him to inside linebacker this year. I’m not sure he couldn’t play that at Alabama and be a C.J. Mosley-type kid. With him and (Theodore LB and Alabama signee) Demouy (Kennedy) on the same side of the ball up there, it will be great to watch.”
Both Smith and Cottrell said Alabama is getting much more with Lawson than just athletic ability. “He is a great teammate,” Smith said. “He’s electric to be around. Kids have stars in their eyes when they are watching him and talking to him. He just has that vibe. Not only is he 6-foot-3, 214, he’s the nicest kid, the smartest kid and the hardest working kid. He’s just got ‘it.’”
Lawson said he spoke to Saban on Friday afternoon. “He told me they were excited to have me,” Lawson said. “It’s been a Merry Christmas.”
