If Young and McClellan sign we will have had a solid NSD1. I guess it is about seeing the cup half full or half empty. Yes, we aren't dominating recruiting as we did before, but we're still pretty good at it, despite:
1. We've had massive coaching turnover for a few years in a row.
2. Over the last years we have lost some of the very best recruiters in the nation: Kirby Smart, Jeremy Pruitt, Tosh Lupoi, Mario Cristobal, Mike Locksley.
3. Most of these guys are now recruiting against us.
4. As Saban is getting older, negative recruiting against him runs rampant.
So, all things considered, despite missing out on a 5 star WR and TE we are doing pretty good recruiting wise. The main issue now is to find the kind of defensive coordinator that fits the official 'Alabama Style of Defense'-standard: tough, intense, overwhelming, in-your-face-smash-mouth D... So that we can beat LSU next year, badly.

This was never going to be a huge OL recruiting year because we cleaned up there last year. Still have three or four good-looking guys coming on board, though.
