In Dixon's article about his CB pick, he said he believes LSU has gained the lead because Roy frequently visited LSU just prior to the July dead period. "Roy will announce his college choice on July 26, putting an end to his recruitment process... Roy is ready to shut things down... and four allotted official visits are still remaining... I see LSU entering the stretch leading into the announcement with a lead that they should be able to hold on to..."
Shea Dixon is the in-the-know LSU mod who reported the fake news that Elias Ricks and his family had already moved to Baton Rouge.
ETA: Shea's remarks that Roy will be shutting down his recruitment with his July 26th announcement seem pretty bold to me.

In this post about Geaux247 reporter Shea Dixon's LSU CB pick forJaquelin Roy, I threw a little shade on how well Shea is in-the-know on LSU recruiting. Some LSU fans got pretty mad about that in the SECrb Roy thread.
