Interesting speed model for Leary that was posted by Rhea. Let's hope he's running a 4.2 by next June, haha

I noticed that too. Honestly, if he's not maxed out walking onto campus, I believe in this staff to drop 2 tenths off of almost anyone that puts in the work every day. Their analytics and science based training is just phenomenal. Best hire by Coach Saban in a long time...seriously.

Just saw where former Tennessee running back Eric Gray committed to Oklahoma. Good pick up for them after they lost Wheaton.

Najee not participating in senior bowl today & not at the stadium, according to this guy.

A little late to the game on this one, but Najee Harris is not participating in today's
@seniorbowl
practice.

In fact, he isn't even currently at Hancock Whitney Stadium.

Follow up tweet implied that Najee’s agent asked him to avoid playing in the game to avoid injury. Hate to hear it, but it is a business at this point. I was looking forward to seeing him play this weekend.

The combine being canceled is the best thing that ever happened for Mac's draft stock. A bunch of useless measurements that would have dinged him but instead he gets to show out at the senior bowl. He's a first rounder and I'm glad he gets to show it.

Rolled his ankle today, might not play Saturday now

not playing Saturday should not be that big of a deal (except in the eyes of the fans); but showing out in practice and interviews would be most meaningful with the scouts/team personnel.

What a team these guys were. Very special group that will be remembered with the best bama teams both in terms of on-field results and character.

What do you have against Southern Miss? In recent years, it's been a MUCH better program than Arkansas, and Tennessee. It's not even close, really.

I wouldn't mind playing Southern Miss again every year like Bama used too.

Play them instead of a FCS team.

Imo, Bama should play good G5 teams to boost our resumé. For example: Memphis and SMU would be better choices than USM. We already play OM & MSU.

Me too. It's been a solid program for 25 years. Except for the Ellis Johnson debacle and the two years it took to recover from it, they've been a staple in bowls for that entire time. And they've been good enough to upset us more times in the last 40 years than Vandy or Kentucky

That's irrelevant ancient history.

Imo, the SEC should replace Vandy.

Get outta here with that one season record crap.

Memphis is a better choice than USM.

Zero history with Memphis. We've played them 8 times since the 40's. This will be the 45th game with USM.

Not to mention that Southern Mississippi, except for the Norvell era, has been a better program and has absolutely dominated their history with Memphis.
