Really hope Miami's D'Eriq King heals up. Thatll be an instant test for a Defense that we'll be really high on all offseason

This looks to be somewhat easy schedule outside LSU and TAMU.

You hating on the trip to the Swamp .

Team doesn't leave need to leave campus again after they get back from MSU until the day before the Iron Bowl.

I think Miami is interesting just because of all the new offensive weapons we will be breaking in, plus a new playcaller. I do think we are much better than them, though, and will when relatively comfortably.

Going to the Swamp could pose some difficulties from an environment standpoint but I think the Gators will be down from this past season's product.

I'm glad the offense will have a chance to get rolling before we play Ole Miss.

@ Texas A&M to me is probably the hardest game on the schedule. They're going to be really good I think. I actually think a new QB will elevate them further. Mond was very average. However, Jimbo hasn't shown much in terms of QB development over the past decade or so.

I don't think Harsin will have it going at Auburn yet, but Jordan-Hare generally makes things tough.

Overall I like the way the schedule lays out. The toughest games are pretty spread out. The only back-to-backs I see as potentially tricky are Ole Miss and A&M.

This is how I see it: Miami, King coming back form ACL.. won't be 100 percent. Miami isn't quite there yet.
Florida- New QB, new receiving Corp.. won't be good as they were this year. Still bad defense.
Ole miss- They will fix defense. will be hottest team in SEC...
TAMU- Will still be good team. return most people back.

LSU- Will stll be solid team, but won't be dominating though.

I'll be surprised if King plays against us.

Mercer Gimme App St or CCU
S Miss Gimme Memphis, Tulsa or Cincy
New Mex St. Gimme SDS or BYU

Beef up the resumé and silence whiny G5s who pretend they're CFP worthy.

I wouldn’t be shocked if, by the end of the season, those were the two toughest opponents Bama faced in the SEC. should be interesting but at least they get to start getting their feet under them before we play.

I don't, boring playing the same teams every year.

Beef up the nonconference schedule.

Miami
Minnesota
BYU
Southern Miss

I can see one nonconference pushover, just to give the team a break. Have 2 power 5 teams, one AAC or BYU/Boise St type team and the pushover.

But doesn't SoG's model work better when there are interconference games? That should be reason enough to not want just an SEC schedule

Absolutely pathetic. If college football is to survive, that crap needs to stop.

You need to throw other programs under the bus, too. Clemson, Georgia and Texas A&M play shitty non conference opponents just like Alabama. Clemson played Charlotte, Georgia played Austin Peay and TAM played Northwestern State just to give some examples. I understand the argument but I'm tired of people singling out Alabama like we're the only big name program who plays cupcakes.
