@Tide_Source: WR Eddie Williams working with Tide safeties this morning

Also, Fowler started working with TE/HBs then moved to RBs

Any news on Henry really dont want him if it is going to cause us to lose tenpenny or jones.

I think he fell to like 4th on the depth chart after Milliner, Fulton, Belue, figured he wasnt going to ever get to start. He was still pretty raw, technique wise (not surprising, since he started playing as a senior in high school). Sucks for future depth, means we really, really need to land a good corner or 2 in this class.

While Eddie Williams will be a demon on defense I am glad you aren't having another 6'4 giant WR. God knows we can't defend them after watching Julio in '10

It'd be pretty fricking scary if Alabama eventually lined up OJ Howard, Bo Scar, and Eddie Williams all at WR. I'm creaming my swimshorts as I type.

Might just be an experiment with Eddie W. the coaches move players around a lot in fall camp.

Well Eddie Williams came in as a very highly thought of receiver and safety so I assume he is going to shuffle around a lot

I am about 95-97% certain that EITHER Tyren Jones or Altee Tenpenny will flip soon after Derrick Henry verbally commits to Bama.

There is a slight chance that both Jones and Tenpenny decommit as a result of Henry committing.

You can save my comment but I think Bama has made a big mistake in how it has handled recruiting the RB position in this class because I really don't think Henry is an SEC level RB.

I agree about tenpenny or jones possibly flipping but why don't you think Henry an SEC level RB? Just curious.

I just wished I saw more highlights of him between the tackle breaking tackles and finishing runs for that extra 2 yards like I have seen with Tyren Jones.

I'm just being biased because I do not like tall running backs, but hey you never know. I think he's a talent and he probably will be just fine at running back.

Totally agree. To be that big he tends to break it to the outside and tries to out run everyone.

Sweet sassy molassy! Last year he was around 350 without any real bad weight and moved really well.

If so it's the same mistake we made at QB last year. I'd be very interested to see what our internal wish list looked like at RB this year.

If that's the case, I'm sure our coaching staff is aware of all the circumstances around each of the recruits. Second guessing this staff with respect to recruiting is a fool's errand.
