Gotta hold on to this one. Snit already burned Iglesias in the 7th so gonna have to survive Jansen in the 9th. Id like to hear snit explain what it would take for a guy to lose that closer job.

Jansen with the save throwing 94 mph fast balls either a foot outta the zone or RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE PLATE.
Awesome. Hes clearly our best option :sigh:

Mets put Scherzer on 15 day DL. Nothing would be funnier than for them to lose the division playing against the worse teams in baseball after complaining about the Braves schedule all year.

Looking at going to my first Braves game in probably 10 years. Got a group of 8 us going to either the game on the 16th or 17th. Where is the best place to snag some tickets because ticketmaster is only showing standing room only options.

According to FiveThirtyEight, the Braves have a:
>99% chance of making the playoffs
38% chance of winning the NL East
and a 13% chance of winning the World Series

Sorry CJ, I am in the Northeast, I could help you with Sox, Yankees and Pirates but that is about it.
Only thing I can say is StubHub screwed me while I was in DC and I never got my tickets from them and had to pay face value at the ticket office , but that might be a one off.
Some of the locals may have some insight.

What happened to TBS broadcasting every Braves game?

TBS haven't had national/local rights for the Braves for at least a decade. I think I remember there was an issue after that because they had a terrible local rights deal (maybe cause of Ted Turner) after that which cost the new ownership group a bunch of money.

I remember the good old days of Braves games on TBS and Cubs/White Sox games on WGN.

I think it’s getting close to two decades.

I’m definitely a TBS kid Braves fan. We watched them basically every night at home as a kid.

Same here. Skip, Pete, and Ernie were a huge part of my childhood.

All good. I was able to grab some for the Friday night game. It’s going to be a nice surprise for the kids.

Ugh I hate it when games are on Apple TV+

Yeah, I'm out on viewing this 1.
Got Joe & Jim calling it on the radio.
Louisville/UCF on the tube.
Mets lost.
Braves hold on, sole possession of 1st fellas.

Will be interesting to see how the shift restriction impacts Olson. Bet his batting average goes from .250 to .280

Today has to be the last for Jansen in the 9th. Demoralizing loss.
