Bill Belichick Texts Brian Flores Congrats On Giants Job Thinking It Was Brian Daboll
© Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports
Former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores has filed a class action lawsuit against the NFL alleging racism in hiring practices. Per The Spun...
quote:

In his suit, announced by Wigdor Law, the firm representing him, Flores specifically names the Dolphins, his former employer, as well as the New York Giants and Denver Broncos. The Giants’ section of the lawsuit is the most interesting.

In it, Flores includes alleged text messages from his former boss, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, that were sent three days before his second interview with the Giants. In them, Belichick appears to congratulate Flores and say he has heard “from Buffalo & NYG” that he is their top choice as head coach.
Here are the texts...

In a league where 80% of the players are African American. It isnt that the coaches are underrepresented, it the fact that the players are overrepresented demographically. Statistics are hard things.

Brian Flores with the all too familiar "victim mentality". What a freaking joke.

So the entire thing is because teams are only interviewing him because teams are following the Rooney rule which forces teams to interview a guy based on race. This is coming off him having a NFL head coaching job in which he was fired from his job due to not getting the job done after making millions of dollars in the position. Yeah, can I get some of that racism too?

This guy is an idiot. You already had an NFL coaching job but no team in their right mind would hire this guy now. He’s a lawsuit waiting to happen if he is ever unhappy again.

He can kiss any future head coach job bye now.

This idiot just burned 32 bridges at the same time. He would have gotten another shot, but now he won’t even be considered.

Not just 32 bridges. Unless an HBCU gig opens up, he’s probably too radioactive for college football now, too.

This is what the NFL was hoping would happen in the two-week media blitz before the Super Bowl. /s

Like crying wolf at this point. Nobody cares anymore because everyone knows there's no such thing as systemic racism. If you can do a job well you will be hired to do it. If you can't, try something else

To me the biggest news in all of this is that BB actually sends texts!?!?!?!

That brady rumor Adam Beasley mentioned sounds like total BS. And a total douche move by him. Why the hell would brady even consider going to a team like Miami who has hardly any weapons on either side of the ball?

So, he has hot shot. Fails, and it’s racist that another team already has their guy in mind?

You could definitely make the argument that he didn't fail. He did more with that Miami roster than I think many people expected this season. Still a bit baffling that they fired him.

So, a guy gets fired from HC job, then gets interviewed by several teams, as per the NFL social engineering rule, then sues said NFL for not hiring him cuz he is f'ing black. Something seems out of place...

BB didn’t text the wrong person. Get some comprehension. He said he misread the text that said who was being hired.

This smells like a false flag to me. “There’s no such thing as bad publicity”. They’re really stirring up interest with this stuff. Soon as you think you got it figured, you’re wrong!
