New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton Exchanged Words With A Butcher At Whole Foods
© Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports
Sean Payton isn't safe from criticism no matter where he goes, including Whole Foods. This week the New Orleans Saints head coach got into it with a butcher while shopping at Whole Foods about last Sunday's missed two-point conversion against the 49ers...
quote:

“I certainly understand the fans asking questions,” Payton said on his weekly WWL radio show. “I got the guy at frickin’ Whole Foods asking me about the two-point play. I looked at him, the guy in the meat section, and I said: ‘Hey your steaks don’t look too good right now. Worry about your frickin’ meat.'”

Who shops at Whole Foods? And what Butcher at Whole Foods knows anything about football? Soccer maybe?

I’m pretty sure this is the Whole Foods in Mandeville. They have good quality meats.

How long has he been here? He should know wherever he goes he will be praised or question. Also, good damn question! Why did he go for 2?

Not sure it you’re serious... Lost by 2. If he went for 1 we still lose by 1. If he gets the 2 the game is likely tied, then OT.

We also didn't convert the two point conversion that we went for on the last touchdown. If we would have gone for 1 extra point on both of those...

Bragging about a low class rebuttal to a valid question from a fan? Not a good look.

He's always been pretty classless. Fans just worship him bc he won a title a decade ago. It is dumb to question the 2pt play though.

He shoulda went to Wagner’s.... Can’t beat their meat...

The Saints' defense was tasked to hold off SF for less than a minute and prove that they are championship caliber. They failed.

Whole Foods....the over-priced, California-type store where the Artsy Fartsy people shop because they blindly accept the ubiquitous term "organic" to be worth whatever price is put on the label. As someone posted earlier, why not shop at a man's store that supports local people such as Rouses. Oh that's right, Whole Foods probably supports his anti-gun views.

Anyone else find it strange that Sean Payton was shopping in SoDoSoPa?

I love that Payton doesn't take any crap from his butcher..... but the butcher did ask the question a lot of us want to know. Lol

Payton is a 1st class prick. He didn’t have to answer the question, but he gets paid millions to deal with stuff like this. frick him.

Wish the butcher would've whooped his arse. He probably didn't actually say shite though but instead made up that story.
