Dallas-based real estate blogger Candy Evans reported that Beck is moving into the 7,900-square foot estate owned by baseball player Jorge Piedra and Swarovski heiress Vanessa Piedra. Beck has leased the home, on the market for $3.9 million, for $20,000 a month. According to Evans, the home has been on the market since 2009 and was originally listed for $5.4 million.

I let him have it for 20K, I feel safer with him renting my vacation home than a stranger. I did also wave my no pets clause.

He'll save 3 times that a month not paying state income taxes. Smart move.

Hopefully all the money moves from the liberal north east to the south.

Dumb arse liberals think people are stupid and are just watching their wealthy citizens and company's move the hell out of their states.

Go Texas and Florida. Hopefully Louisiana will be the next to go taxless.

Obviously his wife's money. This guy is a major league failure...

His career highlights:

quote:

On April 11, 2005, Piedra became the second baseball player after Alex Sanchez to be suspended for testing positive for illegal performance-enhancing drugs under Major League Baseball's new drug policy.[1] He was suspended for 10 days without pay as MLB's policy dictated for a first offense until November 2005. First offenses since that time now result in 50-game suspensions.

quote:

He signed a minor league contract with the Oakland Athletics on June 12, 2007.

quote:

On January 4, 2008, Piedra signed a minor league contract with the Florida Marlins with an invitation to spring training. He was released on March 9, 2008

Yeah, but he only played for about a year, then got caught with steroids, and fizzled out.

So he was alright, but chances are he was on steroids at the time.

And yet still 1000x better than any former baseball player on the OT could have ever hoped to be.

he is probably moving down there for the same reason why Rush moved to Florida. no state income tax and the GOP's probably largest core base is in the Metroplex.
