Why do the liberals feel the need to push black excellence? It is almost as if they don’t expect black people to do excellent things, and that this is out of the ordinary. Liberals are such racists....

It’s the soft bigotry of low expectations.

I’m a liberal and I have the same problem with the #blackexcellence that you do. You know, all liberals don’t agree on everything just as all conservatives don’t agree on everything.

Excellence is excellence, not matter what color it is.

Why can't it just be excellence? It's a fricking racist post if it's 'white excellence' . F the OP

Am I the only one not impressed with her routine? Seemed average at best. What was her score?

I was expecting to be blown away, but it wasn't impressive at all. It was a dance routine with a couple gymnastics moves thrown in.

What’s with the backup dancers? Is it an individual event? Why not have costumes and props? So stupid

I'll be glad when an athlete's performance does not require a racial identification.

I wonder if using the phrase white excellence would be well received?

They lost me with the racist Black Excellence trash. Next white gymnastics they should go with white excellence

"blackexcellence" is either an arrogant, racist statement or a suggestion that "black excellence" is less excellent than the excellence of other races (which is also a racist statement).

Three good, clean tumbling runs, and some hip hop in between. What's the big deal for or against?

I'd hit it most excellently

Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve never gone a day in my life obsessing over my skin color or sexual orientation. I’m continually baffled by individuals who let those things determine so much of who they are.

I don't get it. I thought there was going to be something epic. It was a good routine, but it looked like lots of floor routines these days. Dance moves in between tumble runs have become incredibly commonplace. I was waiting for whatever was supposed to make this stand out but never saw it. Good routine. Nothing new. Nothing "epic".
