My big gripe about Bo-Katan is that if she is such a critical character to the story of Mandalore as a whole… then give her a show of her own and let that play out.

The Mandalorian is about Din Djarin and his relationship with Grogu. That’s the story. Getting away from that to wrap up a dangling storyline from a decade ago in another series was a mistake.

Agreed. I’m so tired of people saying LSU has no basketball credibility or relevance. There was a time not so long ago when making the tourney wasn’t even a question. The only question was what the seed would be. You can be successful in basketball at LSU. You just have to say yes to the right people and no to the wrong ones.

The Kraken, left for dead in mid-December, are back in playoff position with two games to go before the Olympic break.

The Kraken first line of McCann, Beniers, and Eberle is playing like an actual NHL first line.

Beat VGK on the road last night… now it’s on the Ducks and Kings Tuesday/Wednesday. These games will tell if they have the stuff to be in the playoffs or not. Worth watching these!

Is this a non-pro cast?

I liked the show’s concept, but I didn’t like the heavy reliance on reality show stars. I want to see new people, not “all-stars” who form cliques based on the network their show was on.

This is a criticism that conservatives need to take to heart. It is not unkind to point out a glaring weakness. We drop the ball on messaging on everything. ICE, government shutdowns, Greenland, you name it. Most of the time we say nothing and when we do, we highlight the weakest of 10 possible arguments we could make otherwise with greater effect.

Trade rumors… look for Shane Wright to be moved from Seattle.

Kraken fans love him but he hasn’t developed. Could be packaged with picks for a desperately needed goal scorer.

I’m not terribly surprised by anything Star Trek pushing boundaries. That’s always been its thing.

But ordinarily the franchise also delivers on characters and story.

The difference here is that this show just flat sucks. And the boundary pushing is just annoying and unnecessary. Aren’t we past all this now? An all-female bridge team, for example. Who cares? This is 2026, not 1972.

I think this show sucks so far. To me, this is just a parade of quirks and quips with bad acting and weird writing choices.

I’m not liking Holly Hunter in the captain’s chair as much as the idea of (younger) Holly Hunter in the captain’s chair. She’s too old and she doesn’t play the part with enough gravity. She seems weak to me. I actually like her as an actress. Just not how she fits the role on the screen.

I think the show gets the team aspect of Star Trek right. So I will give it credit there… but I just don’t like a lot of the characters here.

Maybe it will get better. I dunno. I didn’t like Discovery’s last couple of seasons, and this feels like it to me.

Look man… that is a living woman, serving the postal courts. She doesn’t have to provide ID. Asking for it is treason.

Hmm. Sitting this one out.
