© Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
Tim Tebow recently took a break from college football to make a surprise visit to Alfred D. Hughes Unit, a prison for men of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. That's where he got worked in a push-up contest...
quote:

Push-up Competition

We had fun, but I got smoked! So encouraged by what God is doing at Alfred Hughes prison and grateful for the time spent with my new brothers in Christ today! Excited to see how they will use their lives for the Kingdom as the grow closer to God and encourage others to live in faith!
Thank you to the Warden and the entire staff- thank you for opening your doors and letting us love on your boys today!

The one thing that stood out to me regarding what Tebow said is he used the name of Christ. You hear so many people say the name of God, but since there are so many gods in our society today His name has become broadly interpreted. But, there is only one Christ and when a person says Christ people understand they are talking about the only begotten Son of the one true God. Christ even said Himself that His name would offend many in society. Tebow saying His name makes a lot of difference, so does his commitment to ministry. God had a plan for Tim Tebow, and playing in the NFL was not it. Tebow's rewards in heaven will surpass anything he could possible dream of from the NFL. Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, and Tebow is sharing that with the world.

It's so fascinating that in this day and age there are still people wholeheartedly believing this. Not talking shite, just actually fascinated.

I could have done without the butt kicking he handed LSU in 08 and 09, but anyone who doesn’t think the world is a better place because of people like Tebow is simply a rotten a-hole.

No Hate on Tebow, loved beating him when he was a gator for sure. The call on his life to lead others to Christ is better than anything he ever did it football. Love his ministry "Night to Shine" around Valentines day for the mentally challenged people.

We'll never see a player in college football reach the popularity that Tebow had. Every women in the south east had a crush on that guy.

I don't get the hate for him. He's been given a platform and does so much good with it. People would do well to emulate Tebow.
