Kirk Herbstreit Names The Country’s Most 'Improved' Team
Matthew O'Haren-USA TODAY Sports
On Saturday, ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit thinks this year's most improved is Michigan State who remains undefeated...
quote:

“There’s not a more-improved team in the country than Michigan State,” Herbstreit said, via 247Sports. “Last year, offensively, scored 18 points a game. This year, averaging 36 points a game. Defensively, they gave up 35 points a game a year ago. And now, they’re only giving up 19. So they have completely reversed their fortunes on both sides of football. They’re aggressive, showing all that skill, I think Payton Thorne’s ability at the quarterback position.

“This team — when you come into a year, nobody’s expecting anything, all of a sudden, you find a way to win one, you find a way to win another one. Next thing you know, you’re ranked in the top 10. They’re starting to believe. And now, they’ve become a legitimate (contender).”

In a few weeks they'll be 7-5 or 8-4, the bloom will be off the rose.

So far, they've been a bunch of glorified intramural teams and really bad Nebraska and Miami teams. THAT'S IT. Let's wait until they actually start playing some real teams -- or at least as real as the Weak10 can provide.

And people accuse this tool of being a Buckeye homer. He is just a frosted tip talking head. And that head proves that a vacuum can occur in nature.

He is a OSU homer. His problem is that his paycheck will not let him say that out loud. I am sure he kicked the cat after the Oregon loss.

He is an OSU homer, but he's not the most biased guy out there which is probably why he is liked by many.
