On Tuesday night, NC State basketball player DJ Horne appeared to do what every player, coach and fan has wanted to do at least once in their lives...
Horne later issued an apology on social media...
quote:

"My sincere apologies for what happened at the end of the game," he said after the game. "I got caught up in the heat of the moment and made a disrespectful gesture that I should have never done. That’s not who I am!"

I apologize, not because I’m sorry, but because I was caught.

Own it, apologize for it, and move on. That's who we all are in those moments. :)
