Considering a lot of classes are already behind schedule due to the hurricane, it's understandable. I heard the local district closed their doors on Friday. One has to wonder how they'll reach the classroom hours required by the state.

School is very important. However, so is life. It’s important you enjoy the rare wins, be it sports or anything else you hold dear. The Astros are one of the few things that nearly all Houstonians have as a common thing. I’m not even a big baseball fan, but I loved watching this run. Go get a life professor, and learn that balance in all things is good. You represent the extreme, and a miserable existence.

It honestly is tough to be smarter than 99% of the people around you. While the professor dedicates his time and life to the pursuit of higher learning, he has to deal with dumb jock frat boys and shallow bitches who would rather throw back shots to celebrate something they had nothing to do with than better themselves and in turn the world. Not surprised the majority of posters on here disagree with him.

I’m sure the good professor sat back and scoffed at the dumbasses that risked their lives with the hurricane/flood relief efforts in Houston with their borish camflauge boats and giant 4x4 trucks carrying off victims and saving their lives; the same people btw that are now wanting to feel good about something. Yeah it’s difficult being smart, but it’s very easy to sit back and show contempt for others from the safety of your ivory tower.
