re: Are you better off than your parents? Is your kids likely to be better off than you? - MSTiger33
Hard to tell. I wanted for nothing growing up but definitely didn’t grow up in the lap of luxury. Financially, I am probably a little behind my parents at this stage but my kids have a charmed life. My kids will inherit a good bit if I make it to my late 70s/early 80s ...

[quote]ounds about right for Opelousas. Biggest dump of a city in the entire state. Once I traveled to Shreveport, and thought I could stop in Opelousas to grab a quick bite for lunch. re: Anyone do volunteer coaching for youth sports…does it ever get better? - MSTiger33
I help coach grades 3-4 girls rec ball. I have to say that it has been a pleasant experience so far with one exception of these two meatheads coaching another team. They were fine at first but got progressively worse as we pulled away. I don’t see why people get worked up over these games. Most coac...

re: Which of these scams did your parents/grandparents fall for? - MSTiger33
It was well known that you could ignore the requests for o purchase or more and their collection notices. Columbia/BMG didn’t care because there were so many people falling for the scam that they didn’t have to bother with jumping through legal hopes to get a person to fork over a couple of hundred ...
