That’s going to be what we have all year. We are not going to magically improve. It will take what we have been doing the last two years in recruiting to fix this. It will be another year or two unfortunately. But I think it will all come together while we have one of the best QBs to come to LSU from HS if not the best. Some of our players are better than what they’ve shown so far. They can get and will get better. There’s no other way around it. Have to get better and we will.

LSU has a standard. I get those saying act like you’ve been there. But each year teams take on a new face and dynamic. And with the constant turnover year after year now learning how to win matters. Not pleased with the slow starts but extremely please with the resolve. And excitement in the locker room means engagement. They’re bought in. They learned how to win. Now let’s start cleaning things up and get ahead and learn how to be dominant.

We have to teach these guys better football. Stop blocking in the back, just put your body in the way, stop getting hands up without looking for the ball, tackle your opponents with your entire body by wrapping them up. Make these guys watch NFL LBs and NFL DBs. Make them watch NFL defenses. Over and over. Keep at them, keep demanding it. That’s how we’ll get better. They need to see it close up. I’m so tired of these arm tackles and shoulder tackles. I’m so tired of them leaving their feet. Don’t leave your damn feet. You couldn’t tackle me with one of those and I’m just 5’10 190. I promise you, they couldn’t move me an inch with that type of tackling. They need to get it together quickly. I understand the celebration, it’s fine to do that but they need to be ready to celebrate every week, no matter who they play. We have to be tougher than this. It’s not a good look for lsu football. They do look soft as charmin. They need to take that shite personally and change everyone’s minds.

Our coaches should watch NFL too if 40 year olds Tom brady, Drew brees, Aaron rogers and Matt Ryan can do QB sneak from goal line so can 20 year olds... they should be embarrassed that no1 has faith they get 3rd and 1 any time. If you watch KC, PHI, CINCY and so on even the most eccentric offenses run sneak UNDER CENTER BTW for the damn yard.... 10 mil a year for a decade and we can't get 1 yd. SMH
