Imagine the Burrow and Daniels offenses with some of the Miles defenses. WOW

Who would have thought ten years ago that LSU would have two different QBs finish with the two best offensive seasons in SEC history. Considering TD’s, total yardage, and rating, JD joins Burrow at the top of the all time list. JD is a credit to this school, his teammates and to himself. May he enjoy success in the future and thanks for the endless highlight reel!

It shouldn’t have been a question after the Florida game. Remember he got hurt when he was illegally hit during the Bama game also. So anyone saying this or that, I’ve watched Nix play, he’s not even close to Daniels, not close. Penix had a better season and looked better than Nix imo. He made some amazing throws to his WR’s just not near as much as JD has. He also didn’t take over games on the ground like JD did. We have to give credit to Coach Brian Kelly and the OC because this was by design once it was clear that he had a real shot at winning it. We could have ran the ball with our RBs a lot more but we didn’t. They allowed Daniel’s to take over the games via his arm and legs. Which was the right call anyway. But we had guys who could have ran the ball. I guess the defense kinda dictated this as well. Can’t catch up running the clock out. If they can’t fix this defense next year, we might want to think about using those big powerful backs and TEs more next year to hold that ball a little longer. Hopefully they get it fixed and we don’t have to worry about that.

Only 1 complaint JD...ENUNCIATION! Speak clearly, no mumbling, slurring, you're gonna have the stage to yourself to potentially change a lil piece of the world, like Burrow did, but we gotta understand what you're saying. Practice, practice, practice.

JD's is self inflicted.

Assume the defense was able to get the ball back to the offense and Daniels an average of 3 times per game. With 36 more drives added to the numbers of that offense, OMG!!

Stat that blows my mind is we only punted like 12 times. He was a 1st down star

When he was under center offense averaged over 10 yards per play. Think about that 10 YARDS PER PLAY! Think about that so 8 plays for 83 yards and a touchdown. Mind blowing stuff

If I was Matt house or anyone on the defensive staff I would be embarrassed. I cost LSU a national championship

Matt House's defense is one of the key reasons Daniels stats were what they are

At tzimme4. Wrong. LSU had one of the worst TOP in the country (95th). Many times LSU would get outpaced by 7-10 minutes. In some games, the opponent had the ball for 37+ minutes. Daniels played til like 4 minutes left in the fourth vs Georgia St, despite only having the ball for 21 minutes. Georgia St had the ball for 39 MINUTES. that's almost a 20 minutes difference. With a decent defense, Daniels only plays 2 quarters and one drive of the 3rd quarter and still posts 8 TDs.

“He had to do it because he had no defense.”

Truer words have never been spoken. JD for Heisman. House sent home packing.

Not only does JD deserve the trophy for he did on the field, what is even a bigger factor to me, just like JB, JD for all appearances seems to be a top quality young man. Congrats JD and I look forward to you stepping up on the stage Saturday night to accept the award and for you being an ambassador for LSU for years to come.
