Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss spoke with reporters on Monday to preview Saturday's playoff game vs. Tulane.

Chambliss said he expects to hear back this week on his waiver request with the NCAA for an additional year of eligibility to play in the 2026 season.

Many have begun to speculate that if he gets the waiver approved, Chambliss could transfer to LSU to play for his former head coach, Lane Kiffin.

When asked about his 2026 plans, Chambliss said he will consider every option:

He is much more of a game manager type than people seem to realize. Half of his 18 TDs were against Tulane, Citadel, and Miss St. Low INTs and decent % are his strengths. Not exactly an all-star.
