An arrest warrant has been issued for LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy for negligent homicide and felony hit-and-run during a deadly December car crash. Per WAFB:

quote:Lacy played his final game at LSU vs. Oklahoma on November 30. He declared for the NFL Draft on December 19 and did not practice or play in the Texas Bowl against Baylor on December 31.
Lacy is wanted on charges of negligent homicide and felony hit-and-run following a December 17, 2024 traffic crash that killed a former Marine and injured two others, Louisiana State Police said.
Louisiana State Police say they are “in communication with Lacy and his legal representation to turn himself in.”
After allegedly causing the crash, investigators allege Lacy sped from the scene and did not report his involvement to police.
Lacy, 24, of native of Thibodaux, Louisiana is also wanted on a charge of reckless operation of a vehicle, documents show.
The fatal accident took place on December 17.
