LSU released its initial injury report Wednesday night ahead of Saturday’s SEC matchup against Ole Miss in Oxford.

The biggest name on the report is quarterback Sam Leavitt, who is listed as doubtful.

Leavitt appeared to be moving around fine after the Louisiana Tech win and spoke with reporters during his postgame press conference. He was scheduled to meet with the media again Tuesday but did not appear. Now, with gameday approaching, his status will be something to monitor.

Linebackers TJ Dottery and Tylen Singleton are questionable, while Trey'Dez Green, Whit Weeks, Davhon Keys and Aliou Bah are all listed as probable.

LSU has three players ruled out: Phillip Wright III, Jaiden Braker and Raycine Guillory Jr.

Ole Miss has two players listed as out, including cornerback Victor Lincoln Jr. and offensive lineman Emanuel Faulkner. Running back Makhi Frazier and offensive lineman Tommy Kinsler IV are questionable.

The full initial injury report is below.

What is the penalty for listing a player doubtful when the reality is questionable or probable? Not that this is the case but curious.

It's either Lane gamesmanship or building in an excuse. I'll go with the first.
