In my profession, Western Red Cedar and spruce is on the rise. I am fine with this though. I prefer Southern Yellow Pine over spruce, and Cypress over Cedar. The market is/was over-saturated with these Canadian woods. We need to use resources from our own forests.

re: Your thoughts on the belief that Christians today would reject the teachings of Jesus?
Posted by DellTronJon on 4/24/25 at 5:33 am
Most American Christians would deny Him when He asked them to give up their home, or truck, or LSU season tickets, or 401K etc. This is not me saying I wouldn't do the same. It is me pointing the finger at myself. I believe we, as a country of Christians, are reaching our forced exile moment, and when it happens, I believe it will be the same as when Babylon took over Judah. The LORD will ask us to go quietly, and many will fight back like Zedekiah when they realize we never actually fought for the LORD.
See 2 Kings 24 and 25 for context.

Every region we destablize and every regime we overthrow is turned into or is replaced by a regime that is hostile to Christians.

Losing to the Browns during Tim Couch's rookie season was a pretty horrible and embarrassing loss.

There is. Congress is supposed to pass laws, and they don't. Congress shirking their responsibility in passing laws, making budgets, ending/declaring wars, checking/enabling presidential agendas, etc. is the cause of most of our countries woes.
