Bregman and his Chicago Cubs teammates gathered around to watch his horse, Act of Parliament, race at Churchill Downs, and the clubhouse erupted when the horse crossed the finish line for the win.
Bregman, who played at LSU from 2013-15 before becoming a Major League star, has remained heavily involved in horse racing over the years.
The Cubs were off Thursday before Friday night's game in nearby Cincinnati.
