Unfortunately, the stigma with the purple jerseys, gold pants at home has projected itself into the psyche of the fans and evidently, even the players. Too many upset losses and near disasters have taken place with that combo at home.

Do you even party like it’s 1969 bro? Booty kicked off the golden era single handily by beating bama in Tiger Stadium for the 1st time since the fall after Woodstock. On his way to 1st team All SEC honors. Which is a requirement for consideration apparently. Gonna be fun to see General win a natty and a Heisman in a few years as well. They’ll probably retire the 14 the day they unveil the General statue is my guess, Which looks like it will also be the day Saban is honored alongside the ‘03 champs’ 25th year anniversary.
