Ohio State can get the talent but can't seem to coach them up. Gotta go elsewhere for that.

They seem to do just fine at the QB position. What an ignorant statement

Would he have ever gotten to start at Ohio State? I don’t think he was given the chance there. Thank God he transferred and the rest is history. The greatest season ever by a college QB.

Only one school experienced the enormous and continued return from offering a scholarship to Joe Burrow, and it was LSU.

The pieces that came together for the 2019 run is just an amazing story. Will be a movie one day.

Simply amazing and astonishing the way things worked out and fell into place for Joe and the Tigers!

you need conflict to make a movie out of it ...... and only beating Auburn by 3 doesn't count

The way things fall into place is called Synchronicity, I'm sure you know. It's happening all the time but to see how it played out on the biggest stage for all involved and for the world to see...can only give us all hope that ours is also coming.

If not for LSU Joe would be selling insurance.

Talent rises to the top a la Tom Brady. Even if Joe went to Univ of Cincinnati, performed well there, then went undrafted or a 7th round draft pick, he would still would have been a startiing NFL QB. The journey would have just been different

Fun to discuss- but this has always been kind of a non-issue. This is what actually happened: Joe had his success playing college football at LSU. Most OSU fans supported him after he left- cheering for him inside their own stadium during their games. He graciously recognized and thanked his former coaches at the Heisman ceremony. Everything worked out well.

Let's be honest... if he had stayed at OSU, he wouldn't be nearly the QB he is now.

Same answer he’s given numerous times before. Nothing really to debate from the LSU side, we got the best Joe and everything that can with it.

Claiming what? He would not have been as big as he is if he didn't play at LSU.

ask big? The guy went from being a backup his entire career and selling insurance in Ohio to being one of the most popular athletes on the planet.

The greatest thing that ever happened to Joe was transferring to LSU.

End of story.

Must kill Ohio state having JB tearing it up and from his time at LSU to now. Meanwhile just about every QB they’ve had get drafted over the last 20yrs hasn’t done shite.

I doubt they really give a shite what they do in the pros. There’s really no reason to. And Stroud was pretty damn good last year but I guess we’re ignoring that to support a point that doesn’t really mean anything anyways. Only thing they should be jealous of is the natty. But yeah I’m sure all those OSU/Bengal fans absolutely hate that he’s turned around a shite franchise and took them to a Super Bowl
