On Wednesday, LSU redshirt junior linebacker Harold Perkins Jr. announced that he will be entering the NFL Draft.

Perkins, originally from New Orleans, La., had a career marked by highs and lows at LSU.

The former five-star recruit had a breakout true freshman season in 2022 but suffered a season-ending ACL injury four games into his junior year and switched positions several times over four seasons.

He leaves Baton Rouge, playing in 43 games with 36 starts, registering 220 total tackles, 35.5 tackles for loss, 17 sacks, eight forced fumbles, and five interceptions.

In this day and age when players change schools like most change their underwear, he remained loyal. Thanks for your contribution and good luck, HP.
