The game winner in OT was a thing of beauty timing wise and dead on the money. Hell of a way to finish off OM.

Dear Senior Bowl,

Please disregard Nussmeier's clutch game tying TD pass with less than a minute left in the game and, even more clutch, game winning TD pass on LSU's first offensive play of overtime, as miserable fricking fans deem his completion percentage too low to be worthy of your praise. Thank you.

Not great completion percentage, but had a BUNCH that coulda/shoulda been caught...hit WR and TE hands. Also had a gameplay going in to keep taking deep shots, which lends itself to lower catch rates. I'm happy with it, you spot on!

I haven't rewatched it yet but the constant deep balls means Ole Piss musta had us locked down on the shorter throws. IDK.

Nuss has had a great past and probably good things in the future, but if he plays like that for better teams, losing is guaranteed. And, he needs to buy steak dinners for the entire DEFENSE

Two weeks ago it was “LSU won’t beat ole miss because XYZ that nuss will do” them I’ll be damned he made all those mistakes but LSU still won

Need him to use his legs more. Even just to pick up 4/5/6 yards. It was open multiple times for him and he only took it once, when we needed it most.

I love those last drive passes and effort but he started 18 for 44 in completions on that drive . I believe he finished with 22 for 52 . That's a horrible completion ratio . Props to Nuss for staying focused on that last drive

Did they actually watch the game? I'm a fan of Nuss, but Saturday night was not his best game by any means.

agreed. Nuss made some huge plays when we needed them, but overall this wasn't a great performance by him.

Crusty my guy…Nuss didn’t play great for 58 mins…but those last two in the most important points in the game…..you can’t teach that
