I'm not convinced that an opening round bye in the college football postseason is a good thing. If you went straight to the games after championship week, maybe, but letting opening round teams knock some holiday rust off might be a leg up.

...the last time we were in the Texas Bowl. Crazy to think how different of a trajectory we could have been on if Nuss had to burn the redshirt over that game.

Then after you are finished with that, give me your full rebuild of the rest of the coaching staff. When the head coach changes its never just the head coach that changes.
Then, after you solve for that, rewrite all of the current and upcoming roster, with transfer portal exits, transfer portal pickups, and recruiting flips.
Truly, very interested to hear all the successful head coach and athletic director takes from you folks.

I remember that D'Angelo Peterson game vividly. Les scripted and setup that play speficially the whole game. It was probably the 5th or 6th time they showed that exact look and motion, actually going right side every time. BAMA thought they finally had it sniffed out, then we hit that one. Still wish he woulda tried to truck himself into the end zone, but was still an amazing moment when it happened.

I actually remember a game vs Florida where their center was doing something crazy over the top visual signal to assist with a silent count. After several plays, our DL just decided to truck the guy as soon as he started that move. Refs started calling false starts against UF. It completely screwed their entire snap count game plan for the rest of the game and Gary and Vern started going on and on about how smart it was to start doing that.

Triple overtime loss (2nd of the season) to Arky at home that essentially knocked us out of the NC picture. Then having the dominos fall to get into the SEC championship and watching Pitt pull it out against WV that ultimately have us the title in 2007. Will never forget that season of chaos.
Clemson and FSU also joining SEC?!
