Now bad for a high school quarterback...

Russell would do that from his knees.
It’s a good thing Jones didn’t have one of those contest. He wasn’t the Ruston rifle for no reason.

Anyone else surprised that 67 yards won? Seems about 5-10 yards shorter than expected given no pads and allowed to crow hop

Passes that travel 50+ yards in the air are extremely rare, accounting for under 1% of all pass attempts across college football.

And what's your point? That doesn't apply to this situation. This isn't a real game.

@lbReal, if you're asking my point. It's that, LSU won't need 67yd passes in game situations. I'm glad he's capable with no pads on but, not necessary. Not a knock on the young man by any means. Hellofva toss.

Someone made a comment that there were only black faces in the photo. It was an observation, but not a very interesting one since football has been dominated by black athletes for quite a few years now. So doesn't it seem logical that there would be more "black" faces than white out there? If it bothers you then perhaps you should switch to a sport dominated more to you liking like tennis or golf.

Stop race baiting Bill. Do better.

I wasn't the one who made the comment. And it's not race baiting if there is an honest discussion about race. We shouldn't be afraid to have discussions about race as long as they are respectful and honest. Facts are facts

Also would’ve won a national championship in 2006 if he had a better head coach

I think Jamarcus did that while kneeling.

He's tall enough.

Most accurate at elite 11, longest throw here, and yet isn’t a 5 star strictly because of height. Shameless recruiting sites

I don't care about stars any more than I do about commitments. He's obviously an elite top talent. I'm looking forward to watching him on Saturday nights in tiger stadium

The problem with these sites is they are trying to be correct on who they give 5 stars based on NFL/the draft. Its a bad system when it comes to evaluating High School kids. Pop is absolutely a college 5 star.
