They should drop to 10 guys per team, do two days, first day is foursome with 5 teams, second day is 4 ball with 5 teams, then 10 points of singles. This makes it more competitive and a shorter event.

JT has the stuff for this event. He’s the antithesis of Burns, typically playing above his level in three events. He’s our Ian poulter and he will definitely be a captain soon
What a weird season. And we scored a bunch after a 10 run game. It’s nice to see them treat the A’s like we should. I wonder what he celebration will look like
Demeco is nice guy…great human being…maybe an excellent defensive coordinator, but he’s not a head coach. His 4th down strategy and clock management is the worst I’ve seen in a long time.

Gotterup? He’s way more vocal and emotional than most American golfers. Cam is a quiet dude but an unreal talent.
I hate low energy nice guy pairings…that’s the Henley / Bridgman pairing. Bogeyed 4 holes on the back nine…total choke job. Congrats internationals on not being pussies

Burns is back to not scaring the hole on midrange putts. It’s definitely a thing. Strokes gained doesn’t lie. I love the guy but I can’t defend his putting under pressure performance
Good to see burns finally clutch up…maybe this will free him up to play to his potential

Agreed that Sam and Scottie need to be split up, and both might need to take a seat this afternoon
Scottie needs to play better. He’s the best player in the world and he withers in team competition. Just 3 putted for par on a par 5 to tie the hole.

Why is Diaz not in the 4 spot over Altuve? Pena going O for 5 might be how I remember him after his agent forces some shmuck of a team to sign him for 7 years. Tomorrow we face a 3-12 SP that will probably shut us down. Espada will say he likes what he’s seeing, good at bats, just need the ball to find holes..we have one more game to control our destiny, etc.

Walkers been excellent defensively all year. That mistake on the throw has to be chalked up to something. I don’t understand Sousa doing anything other than throwing low and away or low and in to anyone he faces. He threw everything up and it all got smoked

These guys are mentally spent. No excuse for making so many defensive errors and terrible pitching decisions. The manager has been retarded all year so that’s not new but the Altuve drop is what started all of this.

I’d like to see the scorecards, but I started watching when the first match was on 10 or 11, and I can only remember the international team bogeying like 2 holes. I can remember them making a zillion 10-15 foot putts. It was just like Friday and Saturday at the Ryder cup. I think I heard the international team gained 14 strokes putting today…bonkers

Alternate shot is such a contrived format…about as far from 72 hole stroke play as you can get. It’s just much easier for inferior players to win if they only have to hit half the shots against 1 ball. I’d like to see them do one of these Ike college golf and take the best 4 scores and keep a running total relative to par. It would probably just be too lopsided for the Americans but I’d like to see how it would shake out.

As are our kryptonite for some reason…makes no sense but we can’t beat them.
Our 7-8-9 is really unpleasant to watch. It ruins the game
