Michigan continues to make a strong push for five-star LSU quarterback commit Bryce Underwood as the early signing period approaches.

On Thursday, it was reported that Michigan is offering Underwood a $10.5 million NIL deal over four years to flip and stay home to play for the Wolverines.

Underwood, a native of Belleville, Mich., committed to LSU in January over Alabama, Colorado, Florida State, Michigan, Oregon, and Penn State.

Underwood is the consensus No. 1 player in the country and LSU's crown jewel for the 2025 recruiting class. He has visited campus numerous times, including last weekend for the Alabama game, and has a great relationship with the coaching staff.

Buckle up as we approach Early Signing Day, starting on December 4.

What an absolute shite show the NIL has turned college sports into… Hate to say it, but he’d be an idiot to turn that kind of money down.

100% right. NIL has really ruined the spirit of college athletics. A complete shite show.

One way to fix it imo, put a money cap that each school has to abide by, they all the same amount of money to spend. If that’s not done the price will continue to sky rocket and be a complete turnoff.

Sounds great, but schools will just pay extra under the table with your "cap". They've done it for decades before NIL, and will do it again. Hell, I bet they're STILL paying under the table in addition to NIL.

He’d be dumb to turn down 10.5 million dollars. I love for him to be a Tiger but it’s looking doubtful.

He's a three year player, so the offer is really under $$ eight million. If LSU has to up the number; we all can see that is necessary for the program to become playoff viable.

I don't believe Michigan is going to create a whole new offensive scheme timely to develop Underwood for the next level. Is Sloan attending all of his playoff games? It'd make a lot of sense doing so.

His Sloan attending all of his playoff games? Seriously? Sloan has a Saturday job which would also mean a Friday night job.

The only playoff game Sloan attended was during LSU's bye week.

You only liked it when the coaches, staff, administrators, TV networks, broadcasters, and advertisers made millions and millions off college football?

HAHA, you can't see what he's talking about????????????????? The college game is screwed up now with players wanting to hit the portal in the 2nd half of a game now. NO loyalty at all. It supposed to be about having a "little education" to go along with a chance to make it to play on Sunday's. This NIL, portal, and other things have ruined the game we loved for years.

You really think these college's have any loyalty to these players? College is just like pro! It's a business! I don't have a problem with guys doing what's best for them because at the end of the day these colleges will do what's best for the school! Even if that is not what's best for the player! As a player, your just one bad play away from a career ending injury! I have no problem with players ensuring there future security!

At this point, if he hasn't flipped, I don't think he will.

Nobody was screeching “loyalty” when this was under the table and everybody was cool with grey shirting guys.

We've got to get rid of NIL. It is predictably ruining college football.

That's a lot more than a "....strong arse offer" which would (did) get a coach fired just a few years back. Man how things have changed.
