Elite five-star defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart is reportedly on campus for an unofficial visit for the LSU-Oklahoma game.

The 6-6, 270-pound pass rusher from New Orleans was set to visit Ohio State this weekend but instead will be in Baton Rouge.

Stewart is the No. 1 player in Louisiana and a major target for the LSU coaching staff.

He previously had the Tigers, USC, Ohio State, and Oregon as his top schools, with the Trojans trending as his top team as of late.

If it's all about money, why don't we have salary caps like the pro's?

We don't want players for hire. We want the kids to choose LSU knowing there is plenty of money to go around. I have no problem paying these kids, but who wants a player who is more concerned about money than where they play, how they play, etc.

I say if it's a money issue, let him go... it's the only way to build a winning culture is to get players who love LSU and want to play firstly, then get paid.

Don’t get too excited, it’s going to take a massive NIL deal to go against Nike….I mean Oregon….USC and Michigan. I’d offer him a straight $750K a year for however many years he’s here. Not paying over a million for any player but a QB. I think he goes to the west coast unfortunately.

Show your work. How do you know $750k is a good number? What's our total budget, how much is going to the rest of the class, how much for transfer portal, how much are other DTs going for, etc? Without knowing all this you're just pulling a number out your arse
