During ESPN’s College GameDay podcast this week, host Rece Davis didn't hold back on his feelings about Auburn and how they miss-treated Bryan Harsin who was fired this week. Per SDS:
quote:

“What happened to Bryan Harsin in the offseason was disgraceful. I mean, despicable,” he said on ESPN’s College GameDay podcast. “You don’t want him? Pay the man his money. You end up having to do it anyway. Just say, ‘You know want, we didn’t want this’ and send him on his way. Instead, they did something nefarious and unfair…If somehow it’s proven that they had grounds for that and couldn’t prove it, then I’ll apologize, but right now I won’t…

“He stood tall through, did the best he could. They lost a bunch of double-digit leads, though, so he’s not without blame here, but I don’t think it had risen on the field to be the level of a fireable offense. They just didn’t want him.”

He didn't mention how "Disgraceful" of a job Harsin for Auburn and the Players. Hate the school and boss all you want but that's no excuse for not doing your job for the players.

Harsin was a bad hire, did a bad job, and is walking away with 15 million dollars. I don't feel sorry for him.

Nothing new about that, it’s Auburn! Auburn gonna Auburn. Why people shocked and outraged?

He's correct, and this is exactly the reason why Auburn won't be able to make a home run hire.

So you're saying Auburn wasn't in the wrong for how they treated this man?

Not sure why Bammer Rece is afraid Auburn will get its act together all of a sudden. Regardless, Rece is a joke and College GameDay has gone down the tubes since he succeeded Fowler.
