I’ve seen way too many people choose to resign rather than be fired, so I think Saban is a bit out of touch for saying that.

Saban's being scummy again and for some reason seems so desperate to be perceived as a "nice guy" even though he spent his being a dickwad. He fired Gary Gibbs after 1 season at LSU. But what Saban does is tell coaches that he's going to fire them, but if they find another job then he won't publicly fire them. Gary Gibbs didn't go from LSU defensive coordinator to nfl positional coach voluntarily.
