© Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports
I don't know who Alabama LB Will Anderson is trying to motivate more prior to their playoff matchup this week, his Bama squad or Cincinnati...

No one with a functioning brain believes Alabama is an underdog in this game and almost everyone is predicting they’ll win. What’s he trying to convince us of here?

It’s apparently disrespectful to Bama players when they’re not hoisted up as the best every minute of the season

Par for the course with the younger generation. Fake hardship and they want to pretend like they are doing something unbelievably hard. Let's be honest Bryce Young was the Heisman favorite at the beginning of the year. Kudos to him for living up to the hype, but don't say that people doubted you when you are Bama's starting QB and the Heisman front-runner. Same with Anderson. You're a damn 13pt favorite in the CFB semis. That's almost unheard of. Please stop pushing this fake-hardship line and just acknowledge that your team has more talent than anyone else in college football. Bama winning the title this year against Cincy and the winner of UGA/Mich (who they will be a TD favorite over) isn't anything great. It's just another average college football year followed by a lackluster draft in April.

Athletes have been doing this for a long time. The self created "disrespect" card is nothing new. Not really a "younger generation" thing.

To be fair he does play for bama, so he probably can’t read or understand what the media is saying

To be fair, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama are typically playing musical chairs on the 48th, 49th and 50th place in US educational rankings. Not really sure this is stone an LSU fan should be throwing. It's like Rosie O'Donnel calling Roseanne Barr fat and obnoxious.

Just because people want the other team to win doesn’t make you the underdog. Rat poison!

Lmao. Nobody has ever doubted Alabama other than in the Georgia game. They are talented enough to steamroll everyone else. Nobody is buying this bull shite.

Well they were told all year how Georgia was much better, the Tide was down a notch, Saban had lost a step blah blah blah

UGA, that's it As for Bama, they were "down a notch" with close a loss to Aggie and one possession W's vs UF, LSU and AU.

Yeah... because LSU players and fans never say they are disrespected despite having a ridiculous number of NFL players come through. I've never heard that come out of the mouth of the LSU bitches,

CanbreakCajun, a LSU fan whining any time anything Alabama related even sneezes from birth. Color me shocked! I never see that here.

Sounds like they are channeling their inner MJ where they look for any extra motivation. I guess Cincy is their Bryon Russell for a day.

Well he never did have his name called for a play at Kyle Field. We were told he was the baddest thing walking on 2 legs. Maybe they were disrespected.

Word candy. No one has ever doubted Bryce. He was the #1 qb coming out of HS, i dont think that is disrespect. He’s got 7 figure payments in NIL deals. Say something fricking original.

You expect these athletes to have original thought? My eight-year old nephew has better critical thinking skills than 95% of Alabama players.
