Don't worry about this young man...or about his weight! This kid will be ready by his Sr year. Great student, excellent manners, and comes from a very solid family where education is a priority #1. He's still very young, and is pretty much still learning the game. Oh, and might I add... he's bled purple and gold since birth! I've been patiently waiting for this day when his name would be mentioned on this site! :geauxtigers:

INCOMPLETE!
Like everyone else, I was excited for the start of the season, and regardless of the loss and how bad we looked, I STILL am. I'm amazed at how folks are literally losing their minds. I'm old enough to remember just 9 months ago we had a WR playing QB in a bowl game and us having only 30 scholorship players. I can also remember the numerous tranfers in and out of the program. I get it...we are a top tier program, but I don't care who we hired, NOBODY can piece together a team in 9 months and be expected to go out and look like a well oiled machine. These players are new to this particular system, new to the coaches, and some don't even have any experience. As painful as this transition is going to be, we as a fan base have to accept that we are going to take a lot of lumps this season. These players deserve our support more than ever right now, and our coaches as well. The beauty of all this is when we do right the ship, AND WE WILL, a lot of folks are gonna eat their words. So stay up....support our guys....take these lumps....and when we are back to smashing teams, it's gonna be a beautiful thing!!!

Maybe..just MAYBE Coach Kelly knows a lil something about recruting and evaluating players? Just because this kid is a 5 Star don't mean he will fit the culture Kelly is trying to implement. Last I checked football is a team sport, and maybe this kid doesn't fit. Has anyone took a look at the current roster? Maybe those guys just need good coaching to develop. All this crying about losing players and players signing with other schools don't bother me one bit. I think LSU FINALLY has a Coach that can take average players and make them good players and dare I say...GREAT!! You don't need a million 5 Stars to have a good team. I'm gonna trust the process! :geauxtigers:

Max has a very bright future...but I can recall when TJ was the next great thing. Let's pump the brakes and watch the young man develop!! When he goes 15-0, win the Heisman, and set all kinds of records...THEN and ONLY THEN will he get the Burrow comparison! :geauxtigers:

INCOMPLETE! This season has been a total sh*tshow. No Spring, Summer, and then COVID! Not to mention the losses to the NFL and opt outs. Then a whole new Defensive scheme. The most successful teams are the ones who have older guys who have been in their systems.

Even this thread proves a point....this shite is STILL all about Odell. What's disgusting is the fact that on one of the greatest nights in LSU Football history, it was tainted by this selfish prick. Who gives a shite what he did when he was playing..the point is HE'S NOT PLAYING NOW...and he DID NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THIS CHAMPIONSHIP! PERIOD! Headphones and gifts are nice, but you don't make a fool out of the program by being a drunken idiot. You look at all the other ex-players and alumni who come to games...they chill...hang back...cheer on the team, but they stay the hell out of the way. Odell has been an a-hole since the day he went to the NFL!

I couldn't help but get upset watching that dude's antics. I get it, he bleeds purple and gold...BUT...this moment belonged to the CURRENT Tigers! Any sensible person would have recognized that, drunk or not. That night he should have laid back, let the team enjoy the victory, then when all the interviews, media coverage and all that subsided, then he could have kicked it with the players and coaches. I'm not gonna bash the guy, but a FULL public apology is warranted. He definitely wasn't around for the One Team One Heartbeat movement...his actions were selfish and it was the one blemish on an outstanding night! Instead of the Team and State relishing win all that comes with being the Champs, this crap is dominating the news cycle.
