After Auburn upset #1 Alabama in Saturday's Iron Bowl, it appears as though Crimson Tide DB Tony Brown went after an Auburn fan that had rushed the field with the masses...

Bama players and fans are so trashy. This should not be a shock to anybody.

Saban will probably suspend him for 1 play

Remember when we wanted him to come to LSU? We were as stupid as he is.

Well, he had his back turned and walking away....so yeah, he is ABSOLUTELY off limits for a player to go chase and punch! frick that dude....nothing but issues from day 1

His best hit of the season. Of course in true Bama fashion it's a cheap shot. Going after a weak, wormy fan... Entitled much? Maybe he should've tried hitting an Auburn player on 3rd down during the game.

The refs would have called a penalty on Auburn for this play to give bama an extra chance to win.

I don’t care one way or the other. I hate both teams. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the fan files assault charges against the Bama player. And it looks like legally, he’s in the right to do so.

It'll work out about as well as all of those lawsuits from fans who get tackled for running onto any field anywhere. That is to say it won't work out that way at all.

We all know Saban wouldnt suspend Brown a whole game but he has to at least suspend him for the first quarter of the SECCG right?

"BUT bama ain't going to the SECCG" Exactly - I would think that Saban would take the high road and suspend him for the entire SECCG!!!

That is very uncalled for and if Briwn did indeed but that kid unprovoked, then Brown should have to sit out the Bama bowl game. Those Auburn fans have a right to celebrate on their home field. I realize Brown and the Bama players were/are distraught but that is embarrassing behavior.

Agreed, but side question: Why are the fans of the #6 team in the country storming the field? Especially when half/most of the experts predicted them to win? Such a little brother move.
user avatar

@DoubleDown they fans deserve to celebrate since their team just beat the number one team in the nation.
