So i am trying to hook a LG Blu Ray Player with usb to the tv. The Blu Ray Player is HDMI only.

I would go with Toshiba, got 2 hard drives a TB & 3tb. They have stood up for 2-3 years. Everybody i know who had a Seagate hard drive has failed.
The only problems i have had with them is the cable/cords but they aren't expensive.
