I am 75 years long in the tooth and I'll be right there with the kids storming the field after a big win. It was fun when I was at LSU and it will be fun till the day I die! We already have laws to take car of a fan who harms a player. Don't give me this "its for the safety of the player." If they really wanted to stop it (which they don't), they would pull the student/season tickets from anyone that goes on the field/court. There are cameras everywhere and you could run it through some AI program and get everyone's names in a minute. Would people storm the court if they knew they could never go to another home game? And nobody is going to cover their face because taking pictures and being recognized is why a lot of them do it. But, like i said, the schools really don't want it to stop because it is free publicity.

I've been trying to open a crypto trading account for weeks now. All of them want me to take a pic of myself with my cell phone. I tell them I got a DL and a pic of me taken with a regular camera. But that ain't good enough, so it's a nogo.

I'm guessing that a cell phone takes a more biometrically intricate pic than a regular digital camera takes...IDK. But I ain't giving some AI robot in the future an easy target when picking me out of a crowd. Big Brother-enabling, commie cck suckers!

If they really want a good picture of you, they can get it. If you fly, they can get it. If you go into a bank, they can get it. If you go into a gov't b building (or really any modern office building), they can get it. If you go into a Walmart, they can get it. If you walk into a stadium or arena, likely they can sync any security video up to the ticket associated with you. I can keep going but unless you want to really live off the grid, there isn't much you can do about your picture being taken and put in a database. All they have to do is place a high definition camera in the right spot and they can get what they want.

I would guess the type of opposing fan that would storm after a loss are clearly decked out in the opposing fan gear/colors and number in the single digits. You probably need to outnumber the players on the court/field to be considered a storming.
